The Yangtze River Delta Railway dispatched 1.932 million passengers on the 10th, with an estimated 1.94 million passengers scheduled for today. The Shanghai Railway Group is progressively deploying transportation capacity to meet passenger travel demands, with plans to add 102 passenger trains, expand 38 EMU train compositions, including 49 through-trains mainly serving long-distance passenger flows from Sichuan, Chongqing, Hunan, Shaanxi, Henan and other regions to major Yangtze River Delta cities; and 53 regional passenger trains mainly serving short-distance passenger flows from Fuyang, Bengbu, Xuzhou and other cities to Shanghai, Hangzhou, Hefei and other cities.
