The Yangtze River Delta Railway transported 1.932 million passengers on the 10th, and it is expected to transport 1.94 million passengers today. The China Railway Group is gradually increasing capacity to meet passenger travel demand, planning to add 102 passenger trains and expand 38 EMU train sets, including 49 direct passenger trains mainly serving long-distance routes from Sichuan and Chongqing, Hunan, Shaanxi, Henan, and other regions to major cities in the Yangtze River Delta; 53 intra-rail passenger trains primarily serving short-distance routes from Fuyang, Bengbu, Xuzhou, and other cities to Shanghai, Hangzhou, Hefei, and others.
