Ministry of Industry and Information Technology: Accelerate the Promotion of Digital Transformation for More Enterprises in Industrial Parks

On March 24, the State Council Information Office held a press conference to introduce the relevant situation of the 9th Digital China Construction Summit. Wang Yanqing, Director of the Department of Information Technology Development at the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, stated that industrial parks are an important carrier of China’s industrial development. Moving forward, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will promote the digital transformation of parks from four aspects: industrial digitalization, digital services for parks, digital management of parks, and digital support capacity building.

First, in terms of industrial digital transformation, focus on characteristic advantageous industries, guide park enterprises to upgrade through digital transformation, and support leading enterprises in opening digital scenarios and technological resources to drive the entire industry chain collaboration.

Second, in digital services for parks, develop digital production services, including collaborative R&D, shared manufacturing, and shared storage. Also, develop digital lifestyle services, such as online property management, smart security, and unmanned delivery.

Third, in digital management of parks, digitize assets such as land, buildings, and road facilities, and establish digital profiles for enterprises.

Fourth, in digital support capacity, strengthen the coordinated use of resources such as supercomputing, intelligent computing, and cloud computing, build an efficient and secure data development and utilization platform, and enhance network and data security risk prevention capabilities.

The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will take high-standard digital park construction as a starting point to accelerate the digital transformation of more industrial park enterprises. (People’s Financial News)
