Trump says he will delay another 10 days to strike Iran's power plant

On March 26th local time in the afternoon, and early today (March 27th) Beijing time, U.S. President Donald Trump posted on his social media platform “Truth Social” stating, “At the request of the Iranian government, I hereby declare: I will postpone the strike against Iran’s energy facilities by another 10 days, until 8 p.m. Eastern Time on April 6, 2026.” Trump also said, “Negotiations with Iran are ongoing, and despite false reports from the fake news media and others, the progress of the talks is very smooth.”
