On March 26, according to Iran’s Tasnim News Agency, informed sources stated that Iran officially submitted its response to the ‘15-point proposal’ to the United States through intermediaries last night and is currently awaiting a reply. In its response, Iran put forward the following core demands: the cessation of the enemy’s acts of terror and aggression must be halted; objective conditions must be established to ensure the war does not repeat; clear and guaranteed compensation and reparations for war damages must be provided; and a ceasefire must be implemented simultaneously on all fronts and among all resistance groups involved in combat throughout the region. He also emphasized that Iran’s exercise of sovereignty over the Strait of Hormuz is its natural and legitimate right, serving as an enforcement guarantee for the other party to fulfill its commitments, and must be recognized. The source pointed out that Iran has identified the US negotiation stance as a ‘third deception’ operation, with three underlying real objectives: to deceive the international community through a fabricated peace posture; to suppress global oil prices; and to gain preparation time for aggressive ground invasion operations launched from southern Iran.
