According to data from Zhongfang Network, Qingdao Bank Co., Ltd. recently announced the evaluation results of the performance of external auditing institutions for the year 2025. According to the announcement, our bank has changed its accounting firm for the year 2025, with the new auditing institutions being Ernst & Young Hua Ming Accounting Firm (Special General Partnership) and Ernst & Young Accounting Firm. This change has gone through a public selection and shareholder meeting review process and has completed communication and handover with the previous accounting firm, KPMG Huazhen and KPMG.
In terms of core decision-making, Qingdao Bank comprehensively considered actual circumstances and the service duration of the original auditing institution and decided to appoint Ernst & Young for the 2025 audit work. Key data shows that as of the end of 2025, Ernst & Young Hua Ming has 249 partners and over 1,700 certified public accountants, among which more than 1,500 have experience in securities-related business services, possessing the corresponding professional capabilities.
On the timeline, Ernst & Young completed the audit work for Qingdao Bank for the year 2025 on March 26, 2026. In terms of audit results, Ernst & Young Hua Ming issued a standard unqualified audit report on the financial statements and internal controls of the company for the year 2025 prepared in accordance with Chinese Accounting Standards; Ernst & Young Hong Kong issued an unqualified audit report on the financial statements prepared in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards.
The scope of impact involves corporate governance and financial information disclosure. After evaluation, Qingdao Bank believes that Ernst & Young was able to perform the audit independently, objectively, and fairly during their engagement, appointing a project team with experience in auditing listed banks, and implementing necessary independence and quality management measures, effectively ensuring the quality of the audit work. The smooth transition of the auditing institution and the successful issuance of unqualified opinions helps maintain the credibility and transparency of the company’s financial reports.
