Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Industry Association: AI development should not be hindered by over-caution; safety and risk control must be promoted together

The Global Developer Pioneer Conference will be held in Shanghai from March 27 to March 29. During the conference, Zhong Junhao, Secretary-General of the Shanghai Artificial Intelligence Industry Association, stated in an interview with the Securities Times, “The craze for ‘raising lobsters’ indicates that AI is advancing from a production tool to productive forces.” Currently, AI agent technology is still rapidly iterating, and the industry is in a stage of “exploring while moving forward, moving forward while exploring.” When addressing AI safety and regulatory issues, we must neither be overly cautious to the point of inaction nor ignore risks; we need to rely on the existing cybersecurity management system, combined with the inherent safety construction of large models, to gradually standardize industry development.
