The Fire Services Department carried out an operation against illegal fuel stations in the Central and Western District this morning. They raided an illegal fuel station on Fung Wu Road, Sai Ying Pun, and seized approximately 1,600 liters of diesel with a market value of over HKD 50,000, arresting one man.At the scene, the Fire Services Department also confiscated a large number of fueling tools. The arrested man is suspected of violating fire safety regulations and dangerous goods ordinances and will be prosecuted. An application for the forfeiture of the involved diesel has been made to the court.

The Fire Services Department seized a large number of refueling tools at the scene. The arrested man is suspected of violating fire regulations and the Dangerous Goods Ordinance and will be prosecuted, with the department applying to the court to confiscate the seized diesel.
