Data: MakerDAO co-founder Rune continues to increase short positions on the S&P 500, with holdings reaching $2.57 million.

ChainCatcher news, according to monitoring by Hyperinsight, in the past hour, the address associated with MakerDAO co-founder Rune (0x30d3…) has increased its short position on SP500 (the S&P 500 mapping contract) by rolling over, accumulating an additional 68.76 contracts, valued at approximately $454,000.

After continuous accumulation, the address currently holds a total of 390 short contracts on the SP500 with 20x leverage, raising the total position size to $2.58 million, with an average holding price of $6,615.5. As of the time of writing, this position has a small floating profit of about $2,300, with a liquidation price set at $6,876.

The address previously held on-chain long positions in CL (WTI crude oil) and BRENTOIL (Brent crude oil), and had opened short positions in XYZ100 and ETH as hedges, now also using NASDAQ 100 and S&P 500 as hedge positions.
