Last week, the prices of edible agricultural products slightly increased, while the prices of production materials slightly decreased.
Business data shows that last week (from February 16 to 22), the national market price of edible agricultural products rose by 0.5% compared to the previous week (month-on-month, same below), while the price of production materials fell by 0.2%. Among them, pork was priced at 18.98 yuan per kilogram, up 0.5%; eggs decreased by 0.6%. Prices of non-ferrous metals continued to decline, with copper, aluminum, and zinc decreasing by 1.1%, 0.3%, and 0.1%, respectively. Rubber prices slightly decreased, with synthetic rubber and natural rubber falling by 0.3% and 0.2%, respectively. Steel prices remained stable with a slight decrease; ordinary medium plates and welded steel pipes were priced at 3,620 yuan and 3,708 yuan per ton, remaining basically unchanged from the previous week, while hot-rolled strip steel and rebar were priced at 3,499 yuan and 3,342 yuan per ton, both down 0.1%. Coal prices remained basically stable, with thermal coal and coking coal priced at 777 yuan and 1,043 yuan per ton, both unchanged from the previous week, while anthracite was priced at 1,133 yuan per ton, down 0.1%. The prices of basic chemical raw materials remained basically stable, with sulfuric acid, soda ash, and polypropylene unchanged from the previous week, while methanol decreased by 0.2%.
