Abstract generation in progress

According to media reports, Chinese mining personnel at some mines in Myanmar began an emergency evacuation yesterday, which is expected to be completed by tomorrow. MNTJP/MNDAA detained Chinese miners and administrative staff from February 21 to 23 and confiscated their weapons. After several days of negotiations between the Chinese government and local parties, most personnel have been released, but one Chinese government official remains unfree.
The market is concerned that the resumption of tin mining may once again face setbacks or delays, and expectations of tighter supply have once again become the primary logic for pricing. The specific impacts still need further clarification, and prices have returned to previous highs; it is advisable to refrain from chasing prices and to wait and see. (CITIC Futures)
