Malaysian Foreign Minister Muhammad said on the 28th that the Iranian government has allowed several Malaysian oil tankers stranded in the Strait of Hormuz to pass.

Muhammad told the media that given the current tensions in the Middle East, although the relevant tankers have been granted passage through the Strait of Hormuz, they still need to wait for an appropriate “window of passage.”

Muhammad stated that Malaysia had previously communicated multiple times with Iran. After Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar spoke with Iranian President Raisi, the Iranian side responded positively, agreeing to allow the relevant vessels to pass.

Recently, Anwar spoke with Raisi, expressing deep condolences for the victims in Iran while condemning any attacks against civilians.
