Recently, the Operator Finance Network noticed that Ren Ruijie, who previously served as the deputy director of the FAW Group Office, has now been transferred to the Group’s Human Resources Department, where he holds the position of deputy general manager of the FAW Group Human Resources Department.
Public information shows that Ren Ruijie was born in 1983, is 43 years old this year, holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering and a title of economist, but the specific graduation school and major have not yet been disclosed.
Ren Ruijie has long worked at FAW Jiefang, having served successively as the acting director and director of the Party Organization Office of the FAW Jiefang Party Work Department, director of the office of the Automotive Management Department of FAW Jiefang, director of the office of the Management Department of the Jiefang Business Headquarters (FAW Jiefang), director of the Party Building Office of the Party and Mass Work Department of FAW Group, deputy director of the Party and Mass Work Department of FAW Jiefang (in charge of work) and deputy director of the Party and Mass Work Department of FAW Jiefang Automobile Co., Ltd. (in charge of work), minister of the Party and Mass Work Department of FAW Jiefang, vice chairman of the labor union, among other positions.
In March 2024, due to work changes, Ren Ruijie applied to resign from his supervisory position at FAW Jiefang, and subsequently, he became the deputy director of the China FAW Office (Party Committee Office). Now, he has been transferred to the deputy general manager of the FAW Group Human Resources Department. From a timing perspective, he has taken up the new position for several months, as he already appeared in reports in this capacity last November.
It is understood that the current general manager of the FAW Group Human Resources Department is Zhang Yongxun, who previously worked long-term in the Group Office.
Data shows that in 2025, FAW Group achieved total vehicle sales of 3.302 million units, a year-on-year increase of 3.2%, with operating revenue of 541.55 billion yuan. According to the plan, the FAW Group has set an annual target of 3.546 million units for 2026, an increase of 7.39% compared to last year, with an operating revenue target of 570.04 billion yuan, an increase of 5.26% compared to last year.
