Solana-based decentralized trading platform Jupiter is set to launch its JUP airdrop on Jan. 31.**
According to Jupiter's statements, there are approximately 1 million Solana wallets that are eligible for the airdrop. Users can check how many JUP tokens they are eligible to receive thanks to a tool developed last month.
Solana-based Jupiter is used by token traders to find the best swap rates in the market.
The airdrop, which Jupiter is set to launch at the end of the month, will be the first stage of a four-stage process in total. A total of 40% of JUP's supply will be distributed throughout the process, with 1 billion tokens at each stage.
In addition, 1 billion tokens will be allocated to contributors and grants to the Jupiter community. The remaining 5 billion of the token's supply was reserved for the Jupiter team.
The founder of Jupiter, known as "Meow", added that they will be launching a meme coin within the next week. Meow stressed that it won't be by Jupiter or MEOW.
