SEC's Request for XRP Sales Approved Despite All Ripple's Objections! - Coin Newsletter

**There has been an important development in the case between the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and Ripple (XRP).

The judge's decision in the lawsuit between SEV and Ripple company, which has been going on for about 3 years, was surprising. In court on Monday, a judge responded to the SEC's request, ordering Ripple to share its 2022-2023 financial statements and documents related to XRP's corporate sales**.

The SEC requested these documents in the past period in order to carry out the judicial process in a clearer and healthier way, but the Ripple front opposed it, citing confidentiality conditions.

But last year, Judge Analisa Torres of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York ruled that corporate sales are within the scope of securities and individual sales are not, signaling that the documents in question will be requested.

Ripple nevertheless appealed this decision, emphasizing that the company's financial health is irrelevant. Nevertheless, the judge rejected this objection and called it wrong to withhold the documents necessary to speed up the litigation process.
