The total global Web3 financing in May continues to rise, exceeding $917 million.

According to the statistics of VentureLink, there were a total of 100 financing events in the global Web3 field in May, which is basically the same as in April; the total financing amount reached $917 million, a decrease of 5.46% compared to the previous month.

In terms of segmented tracks, the blockchain infrastructure track had the highest number of financings and the largest amount in May, with 41 projects receiving a total of 498 million USD; the DeFi track and the CeFi track maintained a certain rise in total financing. Among them, there were 19 financings of tens of millions of dollars in May, including 2 financings of hundreds of millions of dollars, namely Farcaster and BitDeer.

In the Chinese market Web3 field, three projects received financing in May, namely: $3 million seed round investment in Martial Awakening, strategic financing of millions of dollars in Unique Art, and a new round of $10 million strategic financing in Dora Factory.
