New Support for Bitcoin from the US: Hundreds of Millions of Dollars Worth of Purchases Will Be Made!

One of the largest states in the US has taken action to invest in Bitcoin with its retirement fund.
New Jersey Mayor Steven Fulop said that a portion of the city's retirement fund will be allocated to Bitcoin investment. In his post dated July 25th, Fulop noted that the Jersey Retirement Fund will transfer 2% of its assets to Bitcoin investment, similar to the Wisconsin Retirement Fund.
It was emphasized that the investments will be made through spot Bitcoin ETFs. Fulop said that the investment is expected to be completed by the end of the summer.
The question of whether crypto and Bitcoin will be permanent has largely been settled, and crypto and Bitcoin have won. I have long believed in crypto (through ups and downs), but I am generally moving beyond crypto. I believe blockchain is among the most important new technological innovations since the internet.
Wisconsin State Investment Board announced in May that it owns $163 million worth of spot Bitcoin ETF shares.
Some small pension funds, such as the Houston Firefighters Relief and Retirement Fund, with approximately $5 billion under management, have also emerged in recent years by investing in crypto.
The investment-oriented moves of Bitcoin-supporting states are interpreted as a clear indication of the rising cryptocurrency supporter atmosphere in the US.
