Golden Finance reported that Kakao's Kaia and LINE NEXT announced the launch of Project Unify, a stablecoin application built into LINE Messenger. The application will launch a beta version later this year, providing payment, remittance, and yield services, and can connect to over 100 decentralized applications (dApp).
The plan also includes support for regional stablecoins ranging from Japanese Yen, Korean Won to Peso and Thai Baht, but promotion still faces challenges under regulatory uncertainty in Seoul.
