Aster has completed the compensation for the abnormal Fluctuation event of the XPL contract.
On September 26, Aster published an update stating, "The compensation for the XPL Perptual Futures event has now been fully distributed. All affected users have received USDT compensation directly in their accounts. If you have further questions, please submit a ticket through our Discord." Earlier today, BlockBeats reported that the Aster platform's XPL contract experienced significant abnormal Fluctuation this morning. Community analysis indicated that this abnormal event was due to serious negligence on the part of the operator, and not a vulnerability or attack, namely: the index price was hardcoded to 1 USD; the mark price was capped at 1.22 USD; after removing the price limit, the price surged to 4 USD, while prices on other trading platforms remained stable.
