SoftBank and Ark Fund are in talks to invest in a large financing round for Teda Holdings.

Jin10 data reported on September 27 that informed sources indicate that SoftBank Group and Ark Investment Management are among the potential investors in a large financing round. If this financing round progresses smoothly, it may solidify the position of Tether's parent company, Tether Holdings, as one of the largest private companies in the world. According to informed sources, these two institutions, which have long focused on investments in the technology sector, are currently among the well-known investors in early discussions with the world's largest stablecoin issuer—this financing also represents Tether Holdings' largest external fundraising effort to date. Earlier reports suggested that this financing could value Tether Holdings at as much as $500 billion; if successful, the company would join the ranks of the highest market capitalization private companies globally. The report also noted that Tether Holdings plans to sell about 3% of its equity through a private sale to raise $15 billion to $20 billion.
