Uptrend exhausted, bears taking over?

Bitcoin and Ethereum just experienced a sharp pullback after rallying, with short-term corrections resembling braking during an uptrend rather than a trend reversal. Combined with macro fundamentals, the outlook remains bullish.

Technically, Bitcoin surged from $70,256 to $75,998, up over 8%, and has pulled back to $74,300, still holding firmly above the 7-day and 25-day moving averages, indicating bull strength remains intact. The pullback appears to be consolidation after profit-taking.

Ethereum rallied from $2,060 to $2,385, up over 15%, and pulled back to $2,309, similarly holding above the moving averages with the strong uptrend intact.

On volume, the pullback saw no spike in selling volume, suggesting limited market selling pressure and funds awaiting the next opportunity.

On macro fundamentals, the Fed recently signaled rate cuts, with global liquidity expected to ease further. As risk assets, crypto markets will directly benefit from incremental capital inflows. Bitcoin spot ETFs continue attracting capital, with institutional funds steadily entering; Ethereum's Layer2 ecosystem and Dencun upgrade expectations continue enhancing its value capture potential.

Rising safe-haven sentiment in traditional markets has shifted capital from stocks and bonds toward crypto assets, further boosting valuations of major coins.

Short-term pullbacks are buying opportunities, not panic signals. As long as prices don't effectively break key support levels—Bitcoin 72,100 and Ethereum 2,190—the uptrend won't be destroyed.

From longer timeframes, halving cycles, institutional participation, and technical upgrades haven't fully materialized, leaving major coins with significant upside potential.

Operationally: $BTC Bitcoin 73,200-73,700 entry on longs! Target 74,800, break through to 75,800-76,300, stop at 72,180
$ETH Ethereum: 2,225-2,250 range longs, target 2,320, break through to 2,390-2,420! Stop at 2,190!

Current market dynamics: taking a breather after rallying, not reversing. Bullish outlook on Bitcoin and Ethereum unchanged—hold patiently or add on dips to capture subsequent upside gains.
