Israel cancels entry visas for 27 French officials

On April 21, the reporter learned that the Israeli Ministry of the Interior cancelled the entry visas of 27 French officials. It has been learned that these 27 are French left-wing parliamentarians and local officials who were invited by the French Consulate in Jerusalem to visit the Palestinian-Israeli region for five days. However, two days before the departure date, the person concerned received a notice that his visa had been cancelled. Earlier this month, French President Emmanuel Macron announced that France could recognize a Palestinian state by June. This remark was strongly criticized by the Israeli side.
