The "Proposal on Data Formats and Models for the Convergence of Mobile Communications and AI" was released

Sina Financial News The Mobile Communication Innovation Center of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, together with Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., ZTE Corporation, CITIC Mobile Communication Technology Co., Ltd., Vivo Mobile Communications Co., Ltd., Ericsson Communications Co., Ltd., Shanghai Nokia Bell Co., Ltd., China Mobile Research Institute, China Telecom Research Institute, China Unicom Research Institute and other nine units, jointly wrote the “Data Format and Model Proposal for Mobile Communication and AI Fusion”. This release is the first phase of a series of recommendations for data formats and models, which mainly cover typical use cases for the convergence of mobile communications and AI at the physical layer. The proposal brings together the most concerned use cases in industrial practice, covering key information such as the training dataset format, training dataset size, model type, model parameters, memory occupied by the model, and computing power required for model inference, and shares the improvement of AI on the performance of mobile communication systems in practice, for reference research from all walks of life.
