Odaily Planet Daily News According to reports, the U.S. stock market opened sharply lower on Monday. Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump described the severe loss in the U.S. stock market index as a ‘Kamala Crash’. ‘Kamala’ refers to Kamala Harris, the presumptive nominee of the Democratic Party for the 2024 presidential election. On the social media platform Truth Social, Trump also insisted in another post that he would not cause such an impact. ‘Trump Cash vs Kamala Crash!’ he wrote in capital letters. Earlier, Trump claimed at a rally in Atlanta, Georgia that if Harris is elected president, she will ‘destroy’ the U.S. economy, citing the recent rise in the unemployment rate to 4.3%. (Jinshi)
