Fed's Harker: Fed doing well in guiding economy

Odaily Planet Daily News, the president of the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, Harker, said that in the past few years, the Fed has effectively responded to the challenging economic situation. Harker did not make forward-looking comments on monetary policy or economic prospects. He described the Fed's policy as taking a broad view of the economy and letting incoming data set the policy path.
