PANews reported on December 9th that the Zilliqa public chain encountered technical issues around 1 am today, resulting in a halt in block production. However, the funds are safe. During this problem-solving period, it is strongly recommended that all partners temporarily suspend any deposits or withdrawals on the network. Later, at 05:53, Zilliqa reported, “The team is attempting a quick reboot to minimize the downtime. Unfortunately, this method was not successful, and a full network reinitialization is now underway. We will keep you updated on the progress. Initial investigations suggest that the issue is similar to previous interruptions. This specific issue will not occur in the completely new network that we are preparing to launch in the near future.” As of now, there have been no further updates from the official Zilliqa team.
