Putin: Ready to send representatives to negotiate with Kiev, but Zelensky has no authority to sign any protocol

On January 29th, Jinshi Data reported that, according to Russian media, Russian President Putin said that as part of the solution to the Ukrainian problem, it is possible to negotiate with Ukrainian President Zelensky, but he does not have the right to sign any documents due to his ‘illegal status.’ ‘Yes, you can negotiate with anyone, but because of his illegitimacy, he has no right to sign anything. If he wants to participate in the negotiations, I will appoint relevant personnel to negotiate, no problem,’ Putin said. Putin said that even during the martial law period, the Ukrainian President has no right to extend his term of office, because the Ukrainian Constitution stipulates that only the parliament can make such a decision.
