Chad's President announces the official end of France's military presence in Chad.

On February 1st, Jinshi data reported that on the morning of January 31st, local time, at the Agui Kossai military base in N'Djamena, the capital of Chad, the ceremony for the withdrawal of French troops from Chad was held. Chadian President Mohamed Deby stated that the French military presence in Chad has officially come to an end. In his speech, Mohamed Deby stated that for more than 120 years, whether during the colonial period or the independent period, with or without a protocol, France has had troops stationed in Chad in 'one form or another.' January 31, 2025, marks the complete withdrawal of the French military from Chad.
