Famous Manager Reveals: "That's Why I'm Bullish on Bitcoin in 2025"

According to Stillmark managing partner Alyse Killeen, Bitcoin (BTC) is preparing to gain significant advantages by 2025.

With increasing institutional adoption, regulatory clarity, and innovations in Bitcoin's financialization, the world's largest cryptocurrency is entering a transformative phase.

Killeen stated that one of the biggest factors contributing to Bitcoin's growth this year is the expansion of Tether into Bitcoin and the Lightning Network. With over 400 million users, the integration of Tether brings trillions of dollars in activity to the Bitcoin ecosystem.

Killeen, who said "Tether's move means users will benefit from Lightning's instant payments and lower transaction costs," said it could accelerate the wider adoption of Bitcoin.

In addition, public companies are increasingly adding more Bitcoin to their balance sheets. According to Bitwise, more than 70 public firms currently hold Bitcoin, further strengthening Bitcoin's role as a corporate treasury asset.

Regulatory uncertainty has long been a barrier for crypto, but 2025 could be a turning point. Killeen said, “Regulatory clarity is overdue and will be extremely beneficial not only for Bitcoin, but also for the startup ecosystem developing around it.” He noted that clearer rules would allow Bitcoin-focused ventures to allocate capital more efficiently instead of being exposed to unpredictable regulations.

Additionally, it stated that Lightning Network could play a very important role in the future of artificial intelligence, as artificial intelligence models increasingly require micro payments on a larger scale, and Lightning is uniquely suitable for facilitating this.

Life insurance in Bitcoin: Companies like Meanwhile, a Stillmark portfolio company, are launching insurance products that allow policyholders to grow their wealth in BTC.

Enterprise-level storage and management tools: CASA is developing solutions for companies to securely add Bitcoin to their balance sheets and support further corporate adoption.
