Robotech: The impact of U.S. tariff policy on ficonTEC optical module equipment is minimal or virtually nonexistent.

GoldenOctober2024

On April 30, Robotec said on the conference call that the company had made a careful assessment of the U.S. tariff policy and had little or no impact on ficonTEC optical module equipment. Although many of ficonTEC’s counterparties are U.S. customers, including Nvidia, Cisco, etc., taking Nvidia as an example, the main delivery places of ficonTEC equipment are in Thailand, Israel and other places, so the impact of tariffs on this part of the customer is extremely limited; Even in the case of direct deliveries to the United States, the contract between ficonTEC and the customer mainly stipulates that the settlement will be made on EXW trade terms. In EXW trade terms, the seller delivers the factory and customs duties are usually borne by the buyer. So far, no client has requested the target company to change the terms of the trade.
