Jin10 Data reported on May 15 that on May 14 local time, a U.S. federal prosecutor stated that FBI agents arrested a former member of the Michigan National Guard who was accused of planning a mass shooting at a U.S. military base near Detroit, Michigan, on behalf of the extremist group “Islamic State” this week. The Wayne County Prosecutor’s Office in Detroit, Michigan, stated in a release that on the 13th, 19-year-old Amar Abdulmajid Muhammad Said went to an area near the Army base to launch a surveillance drone to support the attack plan, and was subsequently arrested by FBI agents.
