One must avoid the negative compound interest model in life.

Many people do not understand why "making fewer mistakes" is more important than "doing more right."

Because the essence of life is not addition, but multiplication.

In the multiplication system, there is a cruel mathematical law:

A major mistake is enough to wipe out all past accumulations.

Just like investing, losing 50% requires a 100% gain to break even, but losing 90% requires a 900% increase to return.

Life is the same:
Negative compound interest is faster, more intense, and more lethal than positive compound interest.

High leverage, blind entrepreneurship, brainless job-hopping, wrong marriage, terrible social circle...

These are all "black holes of negative compound interest."

Falling in and working hard is just filling the pit.

So the first principle of doing anything is: avoid things that will bring you back to square one!
