On February 5th, at the “Photovoltaic Industry Development Review for 2025 and Outlook for 2026 Seminar” hosted by the China Photovoltaic Industry Association, the tenth edition of the “China Photovoltaic Industry Development Roadmap” (hereinafter referred to as the “Roadmap”) was released. According to the “Roadmap,” China’s new installed capacity in photovoltaics is expected to reach 180-240GW in 2026.
The China Photovoltaic Industry Association predicts that after a short-term adjustment, domestic photovoltaic new installed capacity will return to growth. According to the curve chart, the installed capacity will hit a low point in 2026 and then rebound, with an estimated domestic new installed capacity of 280-350GW by 2035.
