TotalEnergies has signed agreements to acquire a 42.5% operated interest in the PEL104 Exploration license in offshore Namibia, located in the Lüderitz basin and covering approximately 11,000 km². This move strengthens TotalEnergies’ position in Namibia, following a previous acquisition in December, as the company progresses with the development of Venus and Mopane discoveries while continuing to explore prolific resources to benefit the country and its stakeholders. The transaction is subject to regulatory and joint venture approvals.
