The Hitch Open 2026 season of the World AI Racing Championship recently launched in Shanghai. The competition focuses on Physical Intelligence, aiming to verify AI perception and decision-making abilities in real-world environments. Among the flagship events, the Tianmen Mountain AI Autonomous Driving Challenge will be held this June, with participating algorithms required to challenge the human driver record of 7 minutes and 38 seconds. Additionally, this year introduces a robot table tennis challenge. At the event, organizers signed agreements with industry partners such as Shanghai International Auto City and Zhiyuan to jointly promote the application of autonomous driving and embodied intelligence technologies in real-world scenarios.
