Missouri plans to abolish the Capital Gains Tax, Bill No. 594 submitted for the governor's signature

The Missouri House of Representatives in the United States passed Bill 594, which will eliminate the Capital Gains Tax. The bill has now been submitted to Governor Mike Kehoe for signing. If approved, Missouri will become the first state in the country to eliminate the Capital Gains Tax. According to attorney Aaron Brogan, since Missouri tax law does not clearly distinguish between Capital Gains Tax and income tax, the bill will allow taxpayers to receive a 100% income tax exemption on capital gains income.
