Don't remind me again today

#美联储重启降息步伐 2900 days ago, I entered the market with 180,000. At my lowest point, my account was down to just 50,000. During those days, I’d stare at the candlestick charts every night until sunrise.

But that’s how I made it through. I didn’t rely on any advanced strategies—just a simple method that so-called “pros” around me used to mock. But this very method not only pulled me out of a deep hole, it eventually grew my assets to tens of millions. The most memorable run I had: in three months, I made a hundredfold return, with my numbers jumping straight to eight digits.

This isn’t some kind of fairy tale. These are lessons bought and paid for with real money and countless sleepless nights. Today, I want to share a few real lessons that can help you avoid paying unnecessary tuition fees:

**The Truth About Bull Markets**

A lot of people think a bull market is when you can go all-in with your eyes closed and make money. That couldn’t be more wrong. I’ve seen too many people chasing everything, only to end up holding worthless coins.

My approach is simple and straightforward: focus on a single sector and only ride the strongest part of the main uptrend. For example, when a new narrative emerges, I dive deep into the sector and study the leading coins and those likely to follow. If you catch the right one, that’s usually enough to fill your plate for the whole run. Greed gets you nowhere—this is a lesson I learned the hard way.

**New Coins Are Better Than Old Coins**

Those old coins that have crashed down to rock-bottom prices may look like bargain opportunities, but in most cases, they’re just worthless scrap. The market only pays for new stories, new expectations, and new hype. Don’t let nostalgia be the reason you lose money.

**Leverage Is a Double-Edged Sword**

I’ve played with leverage before, and yes, at my peak, my account hit eight figures. But the number of times I got liquidated? I lost count. If you really want to try it:

- Never go all-in on your position
- Never use more than 5x leverage
- Stop losses must be as instinctive as breathing

Otherwise, the market will teach you the harshest lessons.

**Cycles Are Law**

Crypto goes through a four-year cycle—this is a rule. At the end of a bull market, you must clear out all your altcoins, not leaving a single one behind.

How do you spot the top? When you notice even people who know nothing about crypto are asking, “Which coin can go 10x?”—congratulations, you’re probably near the top. If you’re too attached to your coins to sell at this point, the coming bear market will show you what a 90% drawdown hell looks like. I’ve seen too many people celebrate for a year in the bull market, only to see their assets go to zero in three months of a bear market.

I have no special talent, nor any insider info. I survived simply by sticking to these “dumb” rules—and I’ve done better than those who think they’re so smart.

So, stop obsessing over “which coin can 10x.” First, ask yourself: when your portfolio drops 90%, can you hang on? Can you survive to see the next opportunity?

This market never lacks opportunities. What it lacks are people who can survive until the next spring.

To be honest, I've heard this theory so many times that I'm tired of it, but those who can actually survive are indeed rare.

That's right, but the key is that the real money lies in the arbitrage opportunities from sandwich attacks in the mempool... I agree with this guy's cycle theory, but he didn't mention the combination of gas fee optimization and flash loans.

Another cliché story: turning 180,000 into several million. Why does it feel like there’s a story like this in the crypto world every day?

Damn, what this guy said really hits home. Back then, I also went all-in on altcoins and got rekt. Looking back now, I was really out of my mind.

You're absolutely right. Surviving is more important than anything else. If you can make it through a few cycles, you're a winner.

It’s the same old lines, I’ve heard them a hundred times, but they really hit home. --- Damn, I’ve also been through those days of watching the charts until dawn. It can really drive you crazy. --- The key is still to stay alive; as long as you’re alive, there’s a chance. That line really hit me. --- I only now realize the reason I lost so many times with new coins and old coins. --- What does it even mean to get liquidated dozens of times on contracts? This guy must have incredible mental strength. --- When people around you start asking if you can 10x, that’s when you should run. That signal is unbelievably accurate. --- The problem is, most people simply can’t make it to that springtime. That’s the truth. --- I just want to ask, going from 180,000 to several million—wasn’t that really just luck? --- Every time I say I’ll cut losses, but when it comes down to it, my hands still shake. Damn human nature.

Holding on until next spring—this sentence hits deep. So many people fall right before dawn.

Getting through those days from 18 to 50,000 was really tough. Now, listening to this really hits different.
