Recently, while going through institutional holdings data, I noticed an interesting phenomenon—a certain large fund has invested in 13 companies in the nuclear fusion sector, quite a significant move.

Take Atlantic, for example. When it comes to nuclear industry welding materials, they’re basically the only player. Portfolio 118 directly acquired 11 million shares, becoming the third largest tradable shareholder. Then there’s Yongding Co.—they developed the first ultra-high-temperature superconducting DC cable in China, and portfolio 503 holds 4 million shares. Foreign capital is eyeing this as well: a Swiss bank holds 7.94 million shares, and Hong Kong capital entered with 24.78 million shares through central clearing.

But Yongding’s stock is in a bit of an awkward spot—it surged from a bottom of 3 yuan all the way to 17, and even hit the limit-up last Friday. Honestly, seeing this kind of gain makes my knees weak; not everyone has the guts to chase after something that’s run up this high.

Yongding's recent surge is really something else. I didn't expect it to go from 3 to 17.

Yongding went from 3 to 17, and it's obvious that institutions are following the trend, but chasing at these heights is really playing with fire. I believe that big institutions are laying out positions in the nuclear fusion sector, but retail investors should really consider the consequences of chasing high. Not everyone can be the last one holding the bag. Yongding's unique position in welding materials is indeed solid, but the valuation has probably already been priced in. Chasing now feels like being a bag holder. This round of gains in Yongding looks logical on the surface, but in reality, it's just a capital game. I'll stay on the sidelines. With 13 companies entering the race together, instead of getting hung up on Yongding, it might be better to look at other targets that haven't been hyped yet—there could be more opportunities there.

Yongding's surge this time is insane, from 3 to 17. I really don't dare to jump in anymore. Institutions have already positioned themselves early; we retail investors are always the last ones holding the bag. With so much big capital paying attention to the nuclear fusion sector, it shows there's definitely potential, but you have to get the timing right. Both Atlantic and Yongding are going crazy like this, and with 13 companies in the game, this fund really has something. It's still hitting the limit up at such high levels, which shows the market sentiment is still hot, but I think the risk is also high.

Damn, Yongding went from 3 to 17? The institutions really pulled off a masterstroke here, I can't keep up, bro.

Yongding went from 3 to 17, that increase is really incredible. Institutions wouldn’t be getting in this deep for nothing.

Yongding went from 3 to 17? Anyone chasing at that level is truly a warrior—I really don’t have the guts for that.

Got rugged by a paper again, from 3 to 17—this is literally a textbook example of a liquidation price.
