A certain Chinese-speaking crypto KOL recently got into trouble.

This influencer was usually enthusiastic about sharing trading tips with fans, but ended up being kidnapped and extorted while traveling around the world. What's even more outrageous is that the perpetrators turned out to be fellow fans from his own country.

The person teaching you how to make money ended up having his own wallet targeted by his students.

Truly, anything bizarre can happen in the crypto world. Sometimes, the old saying "don't flaunt your wealth" needs to be taken even more seriously in the Web3 space. Every large on-chain transaction you make, every time you show off your wealth online, could be painting a target for those with ill intentions.

At the end of the day, money comes quickly in this circle, but so do the risks.

Now it's all good; instead of teaching people how to make money, I was the one students are thinking about... The crypto world is so absurd. A bragging post on the blockchain is like putting a target on bad guys, so true. The simple principle that wealth shouldn't be exposed, crypto people just can't learn it, they deserve it. And the most heartbreaking is when fellow fans turn against each other. Being kidnapped while traveling—who would have thought of such a risk... Having too much money is really not a blessing. You gave me a lesson; it's better to stay low-profile on the chain in the future.

Wow, fans turning around and robbing—this move is really something... "Keep wealth private" is truly a golden rule. Bragging on the chain is just marking yourself. That's how the crypto world is—places with more money often have more trouble. This guy needs to learn to be more low-key, or he'll be constantly giving people directions to him.

Damn, is this for real? The fans turned around and stabbed the teacher in the back? That's just how the crypto world is.

Damn, fans turn into kidnappers just like that? There really are all kinds of monsters in the crypto space. --- The so-called "wealth secrets" just end up creating criminal apprentices—how ironic. --- There’s no privacy on-chain, bro. Every transaction is basically a livestream of your net worth. No wonder it’s easy to get targeted. --- That’s why I never show off my holdings in group chats. Keeping a low profile is key. --- The risks in crypto are really insane. If you want to make quick money, you’d better be ready to be on someone’s radar. --- It’s always your own people who go hardest. This guy learned more than just trading skills. --- Everything on-chain is transparent. Why do rich folks still show off their wealth? Are they looking for trouble?

Really, I've seen this kind of thing happen a lot in the crypto world, but the kidnapper being a fan is really something else. Does financial freedom mean you have to voluntarily disappear? Is privacy really gone in the Web3 era? Keeping a low profile is the way to go, but some people just can't stop showing off. This move is basically digging your own grave. When you have more money, your mental defenses need an upgrade. A fan turning on their idol? The plot twists in crypto are wild. If you want to make quick money, you have to accept quick risks—that’s a hard rule. Good thing the address wasn't live-streamed, or it would have been even more troublesome. On-chain data is totally transparent, and that's a double-edged sword. KOLs might all need bodyguards in the future—it's getting a bit crazy.

Oh man, this is ridiculous. Teaching people how to trade crypto and ending up being targeted by your own followers—this space is just wild. --- "Don’t flaunt your wealth" has basically become a required lesson now, or else you’ll end up a sitting duck. --- To be honest, bragging on-chain is just asking for trouble—every single transaction is being watched closely. --- Risk and profit always come as a pair; there’s no free lunch in this space. --- The fact that the kidnappers turned out to be his own fans is just too ironic—trust goes straight to zero. --- Showing off wealth while traveling is basically courting disaster; Web3 is just that transparent.

Oh my, this gossip is explosive—his own fans turned on him just like that. Honestly, after hearing so many of these stories in crypto, I’m kind of numb, but the fact that the kidnappers were fellow countrymen is really outrageous. The saying "don't flaunt your wealth" is a joke these days—everything is traceable on-chain. This guy taught the world how to make money and ended up getting schooled himself. Wait... is flaunting wealth really just asking for trouble? The more I think about it, the scarier it seems. That's just how crypto is—money comes fast and so does downfall.

I can't take it anymore, there really are all kinds of weirdos in the crypto world. This is why I never post bag photos on Twitter, it's just too dangerous. How many times have we said not to show off your wealth? Now you get it, right? Every single transaction on-chain is being watched by someone. This space is just too crazy. Your own followers are the scariest—they know you have money and they know where you are. Making money fast is great, but your life is even more valuable. Now you understand what "paying for knowledge" really means. The tuition is way too damn high.
