Some platforms already rolled out MiCA-compliant setups for the European market. That's why spot trading keeps running without major hiccups.



But here's where it gets tricky: MiCA doesn't actually touch derivatives. Futures, options, perpetual contracts — these all fall under MiFID II, which is way more restrictive. The regulatory gap between spot and derivatives creates a messier compliance landscape than most realize.
