Even top players haven't escaped the recent market correction.

Yesterday, I saw some data: a well-known whale "Maji" had a series of long positions liquidated, with their account almost wiped out; another major player, known as "CZ's counterparty," fared even worse, with unrealized losses on ETH and XRP long positions totaling over $30 million. These are bloody numbers—painfully real.

This round of sell-off has been brutal. When whales are being used as bait and getting cut, market panic has reached its peak.

But from another perspective, crisis often hides opportunity—whale liquidations do accelerate the drop, but in order to recover or average down, they are very likely to buy heavily at the lows, which usually triggers a strong rebound.

What should retail investors do at this point? Three suggestions:

**Don't blindly follow the crowd**: High-leverage directional bets are a big player's game. They have the capital to withstand corrections—ordinary people can't afford that risk.
**Be patient**: Wait for panic to subside and for signs that the market is stabilizing and forming a bottom before considering phased entries. Follow the capital flows to catch some of the upside.
**Keep cash reserves**: Having enough bullets is crucial—the real opportunities always emerge from big drops.

My view is simple: when whales suffer heavy losses, it often signals that the bottom is not far off. What you need to do now is control your impulses and keep your cool—don't cut your losses and exit in a panic. Remember the old saying: be greedy when others are fearful. The market always rewards those who are prepared.

I saw the Mochi liquidation, and I really can't hold it... The力度 of this wipeout is indeed outrageous. Waiting for a dip to buy the dip, retail investors need to be a bit patient. If you still have bullets, don't rush to get on board. The bottom is near, but the question is whether you can survive until that day. Watching the $30 million unrealized loss is really a bit satisfying... Big players are just so-so. If this wave really rebounds, those who kept cash early will earn the most comfortably.

Machi really took a huge loss this time. Now the market will have to go through a long period of correction.

Machi really got hit hard this time, $30 million gone just like that. Damn, it hurts just watching it happen to them.
