The "Silk Road" bitcoin wallet that has been dormant for ten years has suddenly come to life

A number of dormant crypto wallets linked to the banned dark web platform "Silk Road" were observed to suddenly resume activity on Tuesday. After more than a decade of silence, these addresses transferred Bitcoin to a new address that had not yet identified their attribution, with a total transfer value of approximately $3.14 million.
According to the data, these wallets still control approximately $41.3 million in Bitcoin assets by market capitalization. The true purpose of this partial transfer has not been disclosed, and it is impossible to confirm whether it is related to personal asset consolidation, institutional custody relocation, or other potential legal and compliance matters.
At present, the actual control of the wallet and the true purpose of the transfer have not been officially confirmed, and the market is closely watching whether there will be larger-scale capital changes in the future.
