Holiday season's here, and so are the scammers—turbocharged by AI.

Seeing a massive uptick in sophisticated phishing attempts targeting crypto holders. These aren't your grandpa's typo-riddled emails anymore. We're talking deepfake customer service reps, AI-generated fake exchange notifications, even voice clones impersonating project founders asking for "urgent wallet verification."

Just last week, three separate reports in our community: fake airdrop sites that looked identical to legit protocols, AI chatbots mimicking support staff on Telegram, and personalized scam emails that knew trading histories. Wild.

Stay sharp out there. Double-check URLs. Enable 2FA everywhere. Never share seed phrases, no matter how "official" that email sounds. If a deal feels rushed or too good during the holidays, it probably is.

The tech's evolving faster than our defenses. What new scam tactics have you spotted lately?

That AI technology is really incredible now. I never expected deepfake to be so advanced; even voices can be cloned... Last year, it was just phishing emails, and this year, it's upgraded to full-blown scam factories. This holiday scam is hard to defend against; people in my social circle are falling for it.

Really amazing, I almost fell for the deepfake customer service trick. Luckily, I reacted in time. AI face swapping can be so realistic now, do you still dare to go out? As for seed phrases, even if the King of Heaven or the Old Master asks me, I won't give it. No exceptions.

According to the security model in section 3.2.1 of the white paper, this wave of AI scams essentially represents a failure in incentive mechanism design. The attacker’s profit potential is infinitely amplified, while the defense side’s cost structure remains perpetually passive—this asymmetry in the game is worth in-depth analysis. --- From on-chain data performance, assuming these deepfake attacks can achieve a 5% success rate, the scale of threat is already established. DAO governance is obviously lacking in this area. --- Honestly, the AI-generated fake exchange notifications are really spot-on—most ordinary users simply can't tell the difference, which indicates a fundamental flaw in our current defense infrastructure design. --- It’s worth noting that the surge in seed phrase leak incidents actually reflects that the overall security education level in the ecosystem is far from keeping pace with attack evolution. --- By the way—have you ever thought about building a security alert mechanism governed by a DAO? Using tokens to incentivize the community to proactively report scam samples, which would both solve information asymmetry and truly decentralize the defense.

Wow, AI face-swapping scams are this rampant now? I almost fell for a fake exchange phishing link last week. Luckily, I caught it in time.

Bro, this AI scam is really top-notch. They’re even using deepfake technology. My dad almost fell for it. --- Never reveal your seed phrase under any circumstances. By the way, have you encountered voice cloning? It sounds eerily real. --- I've seen fake airdrops before. The entire website looks just like the real one, with terrifying attention to detail. --- You really need to enable 2FA everywhere. It was troublesome back then, but now it’s even more risky not to. --- Recently, scams have been escalating rapidly. It's hard to defend against them all. --- During the holiday season, it’s very easy to fall into traps. When you're in a good mood, your vigilance drops... --- Those fake customer service accounts on Telegram are almost impossible to guard against. Their replies are so quick, it’s like they’re real.
