I recently heard a story that really hit home.

A friend who has been navigating the crypto world for a long time once used his entire position for half a month, losing his six-figure account down to four figures. During that time, he would wake up every day seeing unrealized losses, and at night he was still watching K-line charts, unable to eat or sleep, feeling completely drained by the market.

The most memorable thing he told me was: "Now, I'm not afraid of losing money; I'm afraid that when there's an obvious opportunity, I don't dare to take action at all."

This is the real issue.

I advised him not to rush into re-entering the market immediately, but to pause and review carefully. Because losing money itself isn’t shameful; what’s shameful is losing your mindset. To get back on your feet, you first need to learn how to survive.

He later summarized his own three ironclad rules:

**Rule One: Don't chase rises or cut losses; when the market becomes unclear, stay in cash and observe.** Don’t always think you’ll miss out on every fluctuation; sometimes the best move is no move at all.

**Rule Two: Never allocate more than 20% of your total funds to a single position.** This way, even after consecutive losses, there’s enough room to recover, and your mental defense won’t collapse all at once.

**Rule Three: Use profits to roll over positions, never cover losses with new investments.** Use the gains to participate in the next wave, rather than using principal to recover losses. This distinction is crucial.

He stuck to these rules for two months. In the beginning, he could earn a few hundred dollars a day, but when the market aligned with his strategy, he achieved five-figure gains in a single day. It’s not luck; he finally found his own trading rhythm.

He said something I found particularly interesting: "I used to be pushed around by the market; now I can稳稳接住每一波震荡."

This shows he has completed the transformation from a gambler to a trader.

The biggest challenge in the crypto world isn’t really technical, but the feeling of "fear" — fear of making wrong judgments, fear of continued losses, fear of never turning things around. But if you can stop before your mindset collapses and carefully review each operation, the market will ultimately give you justice.

Remember this: **The market never lacks opportunities; those who can keep a steady mindset are the ones who truly deserve to earn their rightful wave.**
