Visa expands USDC stablecoin payment pilot on the Solana network in the US to optimize treasury performance for banking partners.

🔷 Visa allows partners in the US to pay with USDC through Cross River Bank and Lead Bank, with a wide rollout expected in 2026.

🔷 Using stablecoins helps money circulate faster and extends payment capabilities to 7 days a week, instead of 5 days as before.

🔷 Visa has recently established a stablecoin consulting division to support financial institutions and businesses in deploying related solutions.

🔷 Previously, Visa tested using USDC for payments to freelancers and expanded to other blockchains such as Stellar and Avalanche.

🔷 Visa is collaborating with Circle on the Arc blockchain and plans to participate in operating a (validator node) for this network.
