It's been a pretty depressing end of the year.
These days, I’ve even been sick, and in such a state, I received two "loan" inquiries from group friends.
How should I say this feeling? It’s a bit frustrating.
Since I was young, I’ve basically never borrowed money from others, nor have I lent money to others.
I don’t want to get involved in others’ karma.
After you get through one difficulty after another, looking back, many things actually have solutions. Be honest when you need to be, correct when you need to be, and even banks will push for year-end performance, so there’s no need to bother your “friends.”
When the market is bad, you don’t have to trade.
You can even switch to a market with better conditions.
In December, the A-shares market has a win rate of over 90%, with the biggest gains at least over 60%. Sometimes, there’s really no need to stubbornly fight in the crypto world.
Think about when you made your big money.
Think about how you lost your so-called small losses.
Yes, if you set stop-losses well, maybe you lost around -20%, but can your principal withstand ten -20% hits?
Will your mindset change?
Once you start to panic and get anxious, after ten -20% drops, you’ll want to go all-in to recover, and in 80% of cases, your principal is gone too.
Stubbornly fighting in a bad market → multiple small stop-losses draining your principal and morale → going all-in out of anxiety → failure.
And failure is the norm.
But after you fail, it doesn’t mean you should keep repeating the same old path.
If this path doesn’t work, you can try a different one.
Ignoring review and not optimizing your strategy, going against the trend without reflection.
Money earned by luck can only be lost back through skill.
How many so-called genius traders are there...
Sharing a quote I saw from Teacher Lu Yu a couple of days ago:
Every time I feel especially hopeless, like I’ve taken a wrong step or made a really bad move, I feel like I deserve it.
Because that’s what I want.
You know it’s really satisfying when no one can blame you. But once you can blame your parents, that feeling isn’t pleasant.
I sincerely show my current terrible self, but I have nothing to regret.
I don’t feel ashamed of everything around me; after all, this is my life. Messing up is my right.
Every time I think about it, I feel a special sense of tragic heroism, but it’s also very satisfying.
I can make plans for myself, bravely try what I want to try, and take responsibility for my decisions, accepting the consequences of these pursuits.
Those who make no progress in their entire lives are always blaming others.
But I have myself.
The biggest realization this year is:
Eliminate the need to want and still want, maintain the best mindset and Feng Shui, and don’t talk about feelings during survival.
Happy New Year.
