The Pentagon "Pizza Index" is reactivated, and Trump threatened to use military force against Colombia today.
On January 5th, according to @pizzintwatch monitoring, the US Pentagon “Pizza Index” was reactivated: “The foot traffic at the Domino’s Pizza store 2.3 miles from the Pentagon surged by 1250%, and the Pizza Palace in the area 1.0 mile from the Pentagon also reported a surge in foot traffic, reaching 313%. The area is now under a Level 3 alert.” US President Trump threatened military action against the Colombian government on Sunday local time, and told reporters that such an action “sounds good.” Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One: “The situation in Colombia is also very bad, controlled by a sick person who likes to produce and sell cocaine to the US, and he won’t be doing that for much longer.” This statement was clearly referring to Colombian President Petro. When directly asked whether the US would launch military action against the country, Trump replied, “That sounds good.”
