Yeah, the hype around payment features is real. But here's the thing—when the dust settles, what's actually backing their governance token? Pretty important question nobody seems to be asking right now. The infrastructure and payment use case are cool, but if you're holding the governance token, you gotta think about what it actually does for you beyond speculation.

Honestly, it's just an empty shell governance token, nobody actually uses it for voting, it's all just hype.

To put it simply, the payment function is getting a lot of hype, but what about the fundamentals of governance tokens? It's a bit unreasonable that no one is seriously asking this question.

At the end of the day, it's the same old trick: flashy infrastructure but the token's value drops out of thin air... Really should ask these project teams, besides harvesting retail investors, what else can governance tokens do?

nah fr tho, governance tokens that don't actually govern anything are just another layer of the dark forest. seen this playbook a thousand times—flashy infra, zero tokenomics clarity. what's the actual cash flow backing this thing? nobody wants to dig into that part.

Wow, finally someone asked this question. Really, the payment feature is hyped up, but why is the gov token valuable? I also want to know.
