There is a concern with Bitcoin Core versions 30.0 and 30.1. During the migration of Legacy wallets (based on the BDB database), in extremely rare scenarios, a bug may be triggered, leading to the accidental deletion of all wallet files on the same node.

Although the probability of this happening is very low, the consequences are serious, so a reminder is necessary. If you are using these two versions, there are two suggestions: first, make a backup of your wallet just in case; second, you can wait and do not rush to use the migration feature for now.

Bitcoin Core is preparing to release version 30.2 to fix this issue. Updating at that time will completely eliminate this risk. Safety first, no need to rush into potential pitfalls.
