wouldn't be shocked to see BTC outperform silver this year. the macro environment keeps shifting, institutions are stacking more BTC, and silver's been stuck in a relatively narrow range for a while now. if we get another round of inflation concerns or portfolio rebalancing, you could easily see that flip happen. BTC's got way more momentum in the current cycle compared to traditional metals. just a matter of when, not if.

The thing about BTC eating silver is inevitable. Institutions are hoarding madly. There's really nothing new on the silver side. Anyway, I bet the second half of the year will turn around.

Bitcoin outperforms silver? This is not a matter of "whether it should be" but an inevitability of macro cycles. It should be noted that on-chain data showing institutional accumulation of BTC already explains everything — silver is trapped in a narrow range, which essentially reflects the liquidity dilemma of traditional metal assets. Satoshi Nakamoto predicted this situation long ago.

BTC this wave is indeed quite fierce, with institutions continuously entering the market and just sitting there. Silver hasn't really performed well in these years... It was about time to be bearish on it.
