Seoul Land tickets can be purchased with cryptocurrency. PayCoin payment app expands again

A cryptocurrency-based payment platform operated by a certain payment company, PayCoin, has announced that it will provide payment services for Seoul Land. Following convenience stores, this platform is expanding the use of token payments in daily life to the leisure and entertainment sector.
Simple to Use: Show the payment QR code within the PayCoin app at the Seoul Land ticket office to complete on-site ticket purchase immediately. To celebrate the service launch, the platform will hold a full-day park pass discount promotion until March 31.
Payment Principle: After users initiate a payment request in the PayCoin app, the associated cryptocurrency exchange will settle the virtual assets held by the user in real-time, including Bitcoin(BTC), Ethereum(ETH), PayCoin(PCI), and deduct the amount from the user’s real-name account.
While expanding into new payment scenarios, PayCoin is also strengthening user benefits with existing partner merchants. In the convenience store channel launched at the end of last year, PayCoin plans to introduce additional discount activities from the 18th to the 30th of this month to enhance daily consumption experiences. Previously, PayCoin had launched payment services in four major domestic convenience store chains(GS25, CU, emart24, CU) in November last year.
A person in charge of PayCoin stated: “The opening of payment services for large leisure facilities fully demonstrates that digital asset payments are rapidly integrating into actual consumption environments. In the future, we will adapt to the trend of stablecoin expansion, strengthen platform linkage, and lead the transformation of the offline payment market.”
